I propose that if players wish to purchase a name change on their account, they should be able to do so regardless of membership status.
Name changes by any means are currently a members-only feature. To me, the membership perk should be the FREE name change you receive every 28 days. Why not allow F2P players the ability to redeem a bond for a name change?
There is a large number of accounts that have invested significant time into playing the game in F2P only. Many of them would love the ability to purchase a name change without compromising the F2P status of their account by putting membership on it.
Simply add a warning message when a F2P player attempts to redeem a bond for a name change that lets them know they would get a free one with membership. That way uninformed players who may wish to try out membership will still do so.
