How long have you been playing Runescape: Since September of 2007

Why do you want to be part of this community: Put simply, a lot of my friends have gone dormant and I'm lonely playing with nobody to chat with. I'm a tad apprehensive about joining a community because I've been burned in the past by a clan leader who turned out not to be as cool as I initially thought, but was feeling bold tonight so here we are.

Where did you hear about us: Well I've been having some run ins with some awful people in the community of OSRS and RS3 and it made me realize Runescape's got a weird amount of loud bigoted people. So I got frustrated and was just blindly googling to see if I could find if anybody else had noticed that and how people felt about it...
Anyways I ended up finding this forum topic in recommended results.

What does LGBT+ stand for: Lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and all other queer folk not covered by those terms.

Why do you want to be a part of this community: I am a Messianic Jew and because of that, I don't like to see people mistreated or misrepresented in any capacity and I feel that the current state of online interactions has lead to a volatile place that accepts edgy statements and exploits differences in others to subject them to inhumane treatment through tacky jokes. :D
Where did you hear about us (please be specific): My wife said this might be a good place to try and find people who care about others in a meaningful way.
