We are a new social clan focused on creating our own community of fellow scapers whether new or experienced. We take part in all types of group activities including a large variety of events, minigames, PvM, Discord activities, clan hall gatherings & drop parties, and a whole lot more!

Our origin story involves a night out at the Varrock pub playing the various Runescape board game implementations, hence the name "Bored Games". This type of leisurely play, sharing a few pints at the pub while playing a good game of Draughts, is the blood and soul of the clan.

If you are looking for a friendly, active, social clan to take your mind off the grind, Bored Games is the clan for you.

We are currently building a Discord server with lots of fun features and a rich amount of information to help with bossing, skilling, and general account building.

Directly below is some general clan information followed by a table of contents to help you navigate our forum thread.

Ranks in the clan reflect the Games Room culture of the clan. Each rank corresponds to a type of rune relative to the Runecrafting level required to craft the rune. Elemental and Wrath runes are excluded. Ranking up in the clan is based off of the following:
• Time in clan
• Wins at various Games Room games (Draughts, Runelink, Runeversi, Runesquares)
• Event attendance and hosting
• Discord activity
• Clan contributions
• A good fit to our community - activity, helpfulness, and relative maturity
• Recruitment and Forum Thread bumping

1. Always follow and abide by OSRS rules .

2. Scamming will not be tolerated . The first time this happens will be an immediate ban from Bored Games and you will be added to RSJ/Runewatch.

3. Be respectful . Do not flood the chat with flames and aggressive arguments. Take it to private chat and if necessary reach out to staff to get involved.

4. Keep controversial topics out of the clan chat including but not limited to politics, racism, religion, staking etc.

5. Do not spam the clan chat.

6. Do not ask for GP /other items in the clan chat. Collats are acceptable but the clan is not responsible for scams. Always take screenshots and timestamps of trades.

7. Asking for rank ups is not permitted. You may however ask for your current rank status i.e. when your next rank up will be relative to time or Games Room wins.

8. Do not post suspicious/malicious links in Discord .

9. Do not post explicit content in Discord .

10. Your Discord nickname must be the same as your RSN. Additionally, changes to your Discord nickname must be posted in the "name-change-leave-of-absence" channel.

• Trialist : New members accepted into a trial period. Trial periods last 2 weeks. These members are rated based off of the same rank criteria as everyone else. A minimum of 2 clan events must be attended or additional time may be added to the trial period.

Mind Runes
: Members who have passed their trial period. The mind rune symbol represents the player's official membership in Bored Games!

•
Body Runes
: Members who have either won 50 games of the various Burthrope Games room games or have been with the clan for 2 months.

•
Cosmic Runes
: Members who have either won 100 games of the various Burthrope Games room games or have been with the clan for 4 months.

•
Chaos Runes
: Members who have either won 200 games of the various Burthrope Games room games or have been with the clan for 6 months.

•
Astral Runes
: Members who have either won 300 games of the various Burthrope Games room games or have been with the clan for at least 9 months.

•
Nature Runes
: Members who have either won 400 games of the various Burthrope Games room games or have been with the clan for at least 1 year.

The remaining rune-based ranks are purely skill based. These represent dominance within the Games Room.

Law Runes
: That which maintains law and order. A minimum of 500 games won.

•
Death Runes
: No mere West Ardougne cat collector, rather a slayer within the Games Room. A minimum 750 games won.

•
Blood Runes
: The very life force of the Games Room. A minimum of 1000 games won.

•
Soul Runes
: Champions of the Bored Games community. True bearers of the Rune. A minimum of 2000 games won.

Purple Hearts
: A special rank for long-standing members who have consistently shown respect and dedication to the clan. They have contributed in some way to the clan's longevity, are active members, and continue to support the community.

•
Legacy Members
: Co-founders and retired legacy members.

•
Moderator
: Granted to a member who has shown commitment and loyalty to the clan. They have been active and contributed to helping create the Bored Games community. They have the desire to assist members, maintain civility in the clan, and are active in game. They are responsible for , screening and approving applications, and monitoring the clan chat.

•
Administrator
: Moderators who have been committed to their role and help grow the Bored Games community. They are active both in game and in Discord and excel in their moderator duties. They are responsible for bumping the forum page, addressing conflicts and concerns with members, screening and approving applications, monitoring clan chat and Discord, and assist with organizing events and activities.
