Appropriate Conduct

We expect all members to act appropriately and respectfully within the Clan at all times. Behaviour that is offensive or otherwise inappropriate is prohibited.

Following the Rules of RuneScape

We expect all members to follow the RuneScape Rules and encouraging or promoting rule breaking is prohibited.

No Offensive Language

We are an open minded clan, cursing is tolerated in the clan but being offensive to another member, staff, nationality, religion and beliefs is unacceptable. Zero Rasicm, Zero Sexism, Zero homophobic remarks, these are considered bannable offences.

Offensive Account Names

Offensive account names are not acceptable in the Clan Chat.

Multi-clanning

We do not condone multi-clanning, just like most other clans. This rule is plain and simple, we ask you stick to one clan at a time to make the best relationships possible; this also helps avoid situations like lures and scams. If you are found having any affiliation with another clan, you will be kicked.

If you come into the CC on another account, please be sure to let those who are in the CC know who you are.

Voice Chat

Voice chat is REQUIRED for Raids of any kind. If you do not wish to speak or do not have a microphone you can still be in voice chat listening.

Reporting an Incident

If you catch someone breaking the rules and wish to report it, please provide a screenshot as well as an explanation of the trouble at hand. This can be DM'd to Gunthie, Taddy Issues, or C Dude74. If they aren't available, you may report to any Silver or Bronze Star. You may stay anonymous if you wish. DO NOT HESITATE to report things to us! We want to be sure we're providing a wholesome place for everybody.

Splitting Loot

During any and all PvM trips/events the highest ranked member is to split the loot among fellow participants.

Asking To Raid

Do not jump into a voice channel and expect to be taken into a Raid. Ask politely and if the answer is No either make your own Raid party or wait patiently for a spot to open up.

PvM Mindset

There are 100+ of us here at DeathWish. We aren't all heavily experienced where others are. If you are PvMing with someone who is taking a lot of damage, not doing something right, or dying, please be polite and patient! It's better to assist them rather than get angry and make an ass of yourself.

Staking Discretion

Please understand some people may be trying to refrain from staking, or trying to recover from a clean, etc. We ask that you please try to keep stake talk to a minimum, and to not stream stakes nor encourage staking. Use a private video call if you absolutely must.

Ranking System


Here at Deathwish we wish to provide proper ranks for proper efforts. While some ranks are hand picked, most others are achievable based on your in game activity, overall clan activity be it in Discord or on our Forum, and dedication to the clan itself.


Leaders:

Leaders are to monitor all aspects of the Clan as a whole. We promise to provide a wholesome place for our members to safely play Old School Runescape. We would have it no other way.


Coleaders:


CoLeaders are handpicked after showing undying dedication toward the clan and outstanding efforts to further us as a whole. With this rank you are expected to uphold the clan rules, assist in getting recruits set up and informed, taking care of verbal conflicts within the Clan Chat and Discord. This rank comes with permissions such as Kick/Ban from CC and Discord, accepting applications from the clan forum and setting roles to members within Discord.


Moderators/Admins


Mods/Admins have earned their way to the top of the achievable ranking list. This rank represents time spent in the clan, assisting members new and old within the game as you can, well above average dedication and efforts as well as clan activity. With this rank comes responsibilities such as assisting in getting recruits set up and informed, as well as taking care of any verbal conflicts within the Clan Chat, has hosted and attended Clan Events.

Sergeant:


This rank is given to those who are overly active in the Clan Chat and Discord, bumping the forums regularly and keeping the overall clan moral at a high. Hosting and attending events regularly, and lending advice where applicable.


Corporal:


This rank is given to those who have spent a good amount of time within the clan, being active both in the Clan Chat and Discord as well as attending events.


Recruit:


This rank is given after a 7 day trial period within the Discord and Clan Chat.


Trial:


This rank is given to newcomers of the clan. The trial period lasts 7 days exactly and these are your first real impressions on your fellow clan mates. During this time we will gather your Discord username and an invite will be sent your way. Bring the enthusiasm!
