What is Forever Home?


Forever Home is a social clan in OSRS that strives to make all players of the game feel welcome. We don't want to just be part of your Runescape experience, but we want to become a part of your Runescape family.

Regardless of your playing style or your Runescape experience, we have a place for you here. Our goal in Forever Home is to provide a safe, warm, and welcoming place for all who enjoy the game. Whether you've been playing Runescape for years and have racked up hours of in game time, you're a more casual player who just likes to use the game as an escape from reality, a skiller, a bankstander, pure, ultimate iron man, or even a pro PVMer-- we are confident that you will feel right at home with us. After all, here at Forever Home we truly believe that the people we surround ourselves with can make the game a more enjoyable experience.


What can I expect as a member of Forever Home?


The members of our clan strive to aid and assist other members by offering support and advice, not only in game, but in life too! Whether you need quest help, training methods, or just need suggestions on every day life (like what to wear or cook for dinner)-- we are here for you. Our clan prides itself on maintaining a "home" like atmosphere. We are mature, welcoming, and want you to feel safe and cozy!

You will become a part of an extremely active and strong member base that truly cares about one another, build friendships that extend beyond in game, and have leaders who work together. Home is where love resides, memories are created, friends always belong, and laughter never ends.

What does Forever Home have to offer?



Clan events including:
skill of the week, PvM bossing, hide and seek, game nights, bank standing, bingo, and more.

Discord:
an active discord server that allows you to keep up with current game updates, clan events, and many other channels for entertainment and conversational purposes.

Friendly staff:
staff members dedicated to upholding maturity in the CC, making everyone feel welcome, and making decisions as as whole.

New friends:
a great group of mature adult members who have proven time and time again to know the true meaning of loyalty and respect for one another.

Clan Rules


Like all good homes, we have guidelines to abide by to help keep things structured and make everyone feel comfortable here!

If you choose to disobey these rules, you will have to pay the consequence (and unfortunately we all are a little too old for time outs). Breaking one of these clan rules will result in one of the following: verbal warning, kick, or potentially permanent ban from our home.


1. R-E-S-P-E-C-T all clan members, regardless of rank, age, gender, or beliefs.
2. Follow all Jagex rules.
3. No discussions within the clan involving drugs or any other illicit activity.
4. Be mindful of who you trust (you know, stranger danger and all).
5. No vulgarity. This includes hate speech, profanity, topics/conversation of a sexual nature, and crude remarks. Don't make us break out the soap.
6. No merching fellow clan members.
7. No multi-clanning.
8. No instigating or encouraging drama within the clan. This includes controversial topics such as politics and religion.
9. No trolling or immaturity (good ole, if you have nothing nice to say.. you know the rest).
10. No luring or taking advantage of other clan members.
11. No spamming.
12. No begging, harassment, or any other behavior that may make others feel
uncomfortable. IT'S THE GOLDEN RULE.
13. Limit trading within the clan chat. Please take excessive trading to private messages.
14. If loaned an item, you MUST return that item to the loaner when requested. Do not harass others for loans.
15. Do not accuse or fight publicly with others clan members. If there is a dispute, you must take it to PM. If you cannot resolve the issue on your own, reach out to clan staff or moderator.
16. The preferred language for Forever Home is English for filtering and moderation purposes.

We have a very simple yet effective ranking system based on total level, aside from staff ranks which are earned through dedication and longevity.

How do I join?


We do have a formal application in Forever Home. However, if you'd like to guest in our clan to check things out and get feel for our family, simply click the
green
double smiley icon within the clan chats tab, click find, and search for us by using 'Forever Home'. Please note: guesting status will be capped to one week. After a week, application to clan will be required to remain in CC. In the event that changes are needed to application or RSN for acceptance, the change will be required within a week from the notice given.

If you are enjoying your time spent with us and feel like you would like to settle in, please return here to the forums, locate the application below, and submit as a new post. Once accepted, a staff member will meet with you in game to recruit you and officially welcome you! At that time, you will also be invited to our clan's discord server, if you so choose to join.

Hello everyone, my name is Alec Scape and this December of 2023 I’ll be in the clan for 2 years. This is a family clan that has truly been a home. We have some great members who support each other in many aspects of OSRS. From skilling, questing to even some occasional PvM, the family of Forever Home partakes in what the game has to offer. Staff Roles & Responsibilities


Moderators:

Moderators will be responsible for leading by example in the clan. These members will be active in both CC and discord to ensure that the clan rules are being enforced. Moderators will enforce the clan rules up to their own interpretation and in a consistent manner with all members of the clan. Their duties also include: greeting guesting members in CC, posting new forum applications in clan discord channel, adding members to CC once their applications have been approved by majority vote of admin and owners, and relaying pertinent information to upper clan staff.


Administrators:

Admin will be responsible for all above moderator duties, as well as the following: ranking members appropriately in CC, expelling subordinate members from the clan and banning as necessary, post new applications to staff discord channel, participate in majority vote with other staff to accept/deny new member applications, nominate and vote on staff promotions, and accepting member applications on forum.


Owners:

Owners will be responsible for all above moderator and administrator duties, as well as the following: accepting clan donations on Forever Home account, overseeing the development and approval of all clan events, distributing clan event winnings, maintain accurate ledger of clan account balance (deposits and withdrawals) in discord, and moderating all clan disputes.



*Note:
All staff members of Forever Home will be held to the highest standards. These members of the clan will be expected to maintain a welcoming, approachable, fair, and respectful demeanor at all times. These members are expected to follow the rules as they are written and ensure that the rules are upheld in order to protect the comforting community we have built.
