MercenaryPVM was founded on the 1st of January 2021 by Golden Light and Yin Kurama along side a team of dedicated players who wanted to create a clan tailored to high-end PVM without all the drama and toxicity that many clans suffer from.

Whether it’s our PVM achievements, our thriving community or our frequent competitive and social events, MercenaryPVM offers the best place for chill and competitive gamers alike. We have grown continuously in the years since and have become home to of some of the best players to grace the game, are you ready to join them?

Post 2: Who we are and what we do


In the desolate winter of 2020, a small group of PVMers, disgruntled with the old regime of corruption and tyranny decided to forge their own path, these souls, these mates, loyal only to each other became known as the Mercenaries and founded what would later become MercenaryPVM.

They founded their clan on a few basic principals, teamwork and community being at the heart of each of them, building on these principals, the whole ethos of the Mercenary group has maintained order, grown friendships and over the years, we became like family.

MercenaryPVM is now a home to over 150 active members, who PVM, teach, learn and get richer every day. Our emphasis on levelling up our members is reflected throughout the structure of the clan and we're proud to say that we are one of the best PVM clans in game because of it.

Post 3: Ranks and Requirements


Our ranking system is orientated towards Total GP split between you and other Clan Members, time in clan and overall experience within Gielinor! At the higher ranks in the clan, you can earn prestige ranks by upgrading your gear and achieving certain KC targets, these prestige ranks are only attainable after obtaining the Sergeant rank and range from sapphire to onyx.

In order to progress you must satisfy up to four criteria:
- Time spent in clan
- Total GP split to clan members
- Gear requirements*
- Boss kill count requirements*

Post 7: Events and Activities (Continued)


Chambers of Xeric

CoX is the entry to high level PVM, while in itself it isn't too punishing, it helps introduce people to the newer, more in depth mechanics that they'll encounter time and again at other bosses and raids. As such we put keen emphasis on getting people up to scratch and comfortable with all areas of CoX.

CoX: Challenge Modes

Challenge Modes, being the harder version of CoX, are something we like to encourage our members to try to become proficient in, we have a full and in-depth challenge mode guide on our discord and we have excellent tutors who can teach metas for those looking to get their perfect run.

Theatre of Blood

ToB is a true staple of the clan, potentially our most performed activity. It's rare that we don't have at least a couple of teams running ToB at any given time, and don't worry if you've only just got the hang of CoX, we have a lot of highly skilled players who are willing and capable of teaching you quickly and efficiently.

ToB: Hard Modes

Hard mode ToB's are steadily becoming more popular in the clan as members get more comfortable with the advanced mechanics, we have many members who are capable of running Hard Mode ToB, we also have a range of members willing and capable of teaching!

Infernal Cape Live Coaching

Always dreamed of ditching that cheese cape and getting that one item that signifies your PVM prowess? With our coaching, we can help you progress through the waves, learn to problem solve and get comfortable with the mechanics of the inferno.

Lively Discord Community

Our biggest selling point is our lively and active Discord community, where we have daily updates on what's been happening in the clan, drops + splits logs, the dank-planks channel and much more.

Post 8: Banned communications


While we encourage everyone to speak their mind and enjoy having great banter in the clan chat, we have to ensure that no one feels personally attacked, isolated or otherwise seriously offended by any talk going on within the chat, as such we have a zero-tolerance policy on discussing the following topics in the clan:

Politics
Racial derogation or supremacy
Religion
Sexual or gender identity
Violence
Derogation of disability or disease


All of the above topics are completely unrelated to OSRS and will remain labeled as “banned communications” - anyone found to be discussing these topics within the cc will either be warned, kicked or banned without warning based on the severity of their violation.

Please use your best judgement if you wish to discuss non-runescape related topics , especially those which may infringe on the listed "banned communications". If it feels like it might cause a problem to say it, it's probably best to not say it.

Post 9: Cheating


Here at MercenaryPVM we abide by the rules set out by Jagex ToS and you should too.

Any evidence proving that you are violating ToS will result from a kick or ban from the cc, we have a zero tolerance policy on people buying or selling runescape gp, items or services, with a special emphasis on status symbols such as
infernal capes
.

Use of bots, macros, autohotkeys and banned clients or plugins is a direct violation of the Jagex ToS and our own rules, as they undermine the integrity of the game. Anyone found to be violating these terms will be dealt with proportionately to their violation, anything from a severe warning and demotion to an outright ban may be implemented.

For the integrity of our clan and safety of our members, we will not accept any members who have been previously banned with evidence for any violations, or who appear on the WDR or RuneWatch blacklists.
