Welcome to Buncha Noobs, the premier Old School RuneScape clan for new players! We understand that starting a new game can be overwhelming, and we want to make the experience as smooth as possible for you. That's why we've created a clan that is dedicated to helping new players learn the game, make friends, and have fun.

Our clan offers a variety of daily events that are tailored to new players. Whether you're looking to improve your combat skills, increase your experience in a particular skill, or just hang out with other new players, we have something for you. Our skilling competitions are a great way to challenge yourself and compete against other new players to see who can level up the fastest. And our bossing trips are a great way to learn how to take down some of the toughest monsters in the game while earning valuable loot.

But we're not just about helping you improve your skills and advance in the game - we're also about building a community. Our clan is a place where new players can come together and make friends. We have a great group of players who are always happy to help out new members and show them the ropes. Whether you need help with a quest, advice on how to train a particular skill, or just someone to chat with, you'll find a friend in Buncha Noobs.

General Rules:

1. All of Jagex rules apply.
2. No racism
3. No begging for money or any other items.
4. Stay away from talking about poltics/religion. (Everyone has different beliefs/views, and these discussions always become toxic)

Event Rules:

1. For PVM events:

(a). If a member of the PVM event dies during the trip they are still entitled to atleast the split they would have received if the trip had ended when they died.
(b). If a member disconnects during a PVM event they are still entitled to atleast the split they would have received if the trip had ended when they disconnected.
(c). Drops must be split evenly amongst the attending members unless all attending members agree otherwise.
(d). Chambers of Xeric/Theatre of Blood/Tombs of Amascut are an exception to the previous point, only uniques will be split unless otherwise agreed upon by attending members.

2. For PVP events:

(a). Intentionally killing clan members is not allowed.

Promotions and Ranks

Ranks:

Progression Ranks:
Silver Key - Highly respected, Active in cc, leadership abilities, helpful, hosts/leads events. Has kicking power and can edit ranks
Moderator - Very respected members of the clan. Active in cc, recruiting etc. Has kicking power
Gold Heart - Event leader.
Rune Sword - Active in cc, recruits members, helpful, attends events.
Mithril Sword - These players have shown loyalty to the clan by staying active in CC for a long period of time.
Iron Sword - These players are put in a little time in and have shown they are staying around.
Gnome Child - These are players that just joined the clan. If you interact in the clan chat, you will recieve the Gnome Child rank!
Unranked - Guests in the clan chat, will not have speaking permissions but can view the clan chat. DM a mod or higher to obtain the Gnome Child rank.

Fun Ranks - These are only given by request:
Goblin - Absolute weirdos
Skiller - For players who do not PvM
Dragon Scimitar - For players who especially enjoy PvM
Xerician - For players familiar with raids

A special rank is given to the most recent member to win an event. The rank is of the winners choosing.

How to obtain promotions:

A clan leader will decide when a member has earned a promotion. Asking for a rank up will generally not help your earn a rank up.

The following are some of the things that help contribute to getting a promotion:

1. Being active in CC
2. Recruting new members
3. Hosting events
4. Bumping the clan thread
5. Helping new members
6. Attending events
