Before we start, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to read our shiny new thread!

What is Cohesion?


Cohesion is a social clan in Old School that is suited to all players of the game, regardless of their playing style. Whether you're a highly efficient player with thousands of hours of EHP or the casual player who plays after work or school, or you're a bankstander who likes to flip and chat, we want to build a safe haven for all who wish to play the game their way and make new friends along the way they know they can rely on.

We feel friendship makes the Old School world go round. Nothing beats playing the game and watching the experience go by while you bond with new people and forge friendships that can stand the test of time!

What can I expect as part of Cohesion?


In addition to the social side of the clan, as a part of Cohesion, you can expect to find clan events including skill of the week, PvM bossing and even hide n seek!

If you feel that Cohesion is a good fit for you, please have a read through the remainder of our post! If you're unsure after reading, feel free to join the clan chat and mingle! See how you feel then apply after!

Want to join? Click 'Find' in the
green
clan menu and search for 'Cohesion'!

The Clan's Home World is 333. Be sure to join this world when applying to join! But being on this world isn't mandatory by any means otherwise!

Clan Rules


1. Be respectful! For a social clan, this is the most important rule. We ask you treat all members, regardless of rank or knowledge of the game, with the same respect as you'd expect for yourself! We want to make Cohesion a safe place for you to chat, chill and unwind while you play Old School RuneScape!

2. Be mindful of the topics you bring up. By this we mean don't bring up controversial real-life topics that could be seen as triggering to others. The clan will not always be PG-friendly, but we do ask you keep topics such as politics and religion out of the clan. These subjects simply never end well.

3. Don't ask for rank-ups! I will include a ranking system below which you can use to see where your rank will take you and where it will ascend to in the future! Asking for rank-ups will surely put a dent in your goal!

4. Follow all of JaGeX's in-game rules! This should go without saying!

Clan Leader & Staff


The Clan Leader is Politoed. He's known as Sean and has played Old School RuneScape since it's launch in February 2013. He loves to skill and make new friends! He also has alt. accounts called Akd and Thundurus-T, which you may see within the clan as well!

In addition, we have two deputy owners within Cohesion. One being Sir Joy and the other being Emsy.

If you have any questions or concerns, please message one of these members and they will help you in any way they can!

Gnome Child - You have now been accepted into Cohesion! We look forward to getting to know you and making friends!

Wizard (Red) - It's now been a week since you've been accepted into Cohesion and it's time for your first hat!

Magician (Blue) - You've now been part of Cohesion for a month! You're rising well through the ranks and we hope you're enjoying your time here! Be sure to take part in events and help out as much as you can!

Summoner (Green) - You've now been part of Cohesion for 2 months! You're a full-fledged member of Cohesion! We're looking to you to assist with events and help to encourage a welcoming atmosphere for new members!

Warlock (Purple) - You've now been part of Cohesion for 4 months! You've risen as high as time-based ranks can go! We rely on you to be warm and welcoming, be a presence in events and help the stars and admins to do their job! Keep at it and you'll be given a star rank yourself!

Ranking System (cont.)


Lieutenant (Bronze Star) - For us to consider you for a bronze star, we're looking at you to be an asset to the clan! You must have been rising your way through the ranks consistently, being a positive light in the community while assisting the leaders with events! At this stage, you can even help co-ordinate your own events with the clan leaders!

Captain (Silver Star) - By this point, you are a Shining Star in Cohesion! You've been recognised by the leaders as someone they can rely on. You are able to plan and lead your own events!

General (Gold Star) - You're now one of the top dogs in Cohesion! You can make your own events without prior permission, accept new members into the clan and help moderate the Discord by assigning roles to new members!

Admin (Owner & Deputy Owners) - Bow down to your leaders > :)

How Do I Join?


We don't have formal applications in Cohesion! Simply join our Clan as a guest by clicking the
green
double face icon within the Clan Chat tab, and click Find. From there, search for 'Cohesion' and join us!

If you enjoy your time with us and want to join, simply click on the Settings panel and click Apply! Please be aware that to join this way, you must be in the clan's home world of 333. If not, you can also ask a Star or Key rank to invite you manually in-game!

We can't wait to see you in the CC and hope you consider joining! :)

We're really excited for the new clan update and hope you are too! I know this clan update means some people are raring to join a new clan and make some new friends!
