Welcome to Los Monos, our oldschool social clan. Our vision is to build a large, fun, safe and friendly community to enhance our members’ journey through the world Gielinor. We hope to be helpful and become good friends with each other while having the freedom to play the game however you like.

How to Join

There are no requirements to join, Just jump into the clan chat and say hello

Joining Discord

In addition to the in-game clan chat, a large portion of our clan communication happens through discord so that we can stay in touch with our friends while we are not in game and to allow voice chat as an option while playing together as a group. Discord is also where our members can view clan announcements.

To join follow the link above or request an invite from any member. From there all you have to do is read and react to the #onboarding post.

*Use of discord is optional to become a member but is necessary to participate in giveaways, and join some of our clan events.

We require every member to follow this set of rules to keep this community a friendly environment for everyone to enjoy.
By joining you agree to follow these rules.

Rules


1) Respect each other in the community. Discrimination of race, religion, discussing politics, etc. and flaming is not allowed. Caution should be observed when making jokes

2) If you have an issue with another clan member please direct message a bronze key or higher in game or discord instead of continuously beefing.

3) If Los Monos is your “secondary/guest clan” you may not qualify for any clan giveaways and some clan events.

4) If a clan member loans another clan member an item, they are expected to return it at an agreed upon time or within 24 hours of the owner requesting it back. It is strongly advised to do these types of loans with collateral. Screenshots help your case if anything goes wrong. Los Monos will not be responsible for replacing your lost item.

5) Any forms of scamming will result in instant removal from the clan and discord. The regular course of disciplinary action will not be used.

Agree to and follow all Jagex rules.

Disciplinary Course of Action
Strike 1: Verbal warning within the CC.

Strike 2: A Message will be sent either in game via CC/PM or discord from a Bronze Key or higher with a Final Warning.

Strike 3: You will be banned from the CC and discord server.


Appealing a Disciplinary Strike
If you feel you were incorrectly disciplined for a rule break and wish to appeal a disciplinary strike, please notify a general rank. The general ranks will review your strike, the action taken by leadership and will respond to you. You may only appeal your rule break once.

Events

Minigames, house parties and other generic social events may be attended by all clan members and invited guests.
Giveaways and drop parties are only posted on the discord and may only be attended by ranked members of the clan.

PVM Bossing and PVP

Bossing events are often posted on discord; therefore, it is highly encouraged that only ranked members attend.

1) Drops must be split unless a free for all has been agreed upon by everyone before the trip or event. Save any evidence of any agreements in case any issues arise.
1a) Bosses that have only drop to one person (GWD, Corp, etc.) are required to split as stated above.
1b) Bosses that allow everyone to receive a drop (NM, Nex, etc.) only uniques are required to be split.

2) Drops must be given to the highest ranking member to be put into the split pool and splits will be issued immediately after the event is done.

3) If a person needs to resupply during a trip or event they are entitled to a split for the next 3 kills.

4) Do not crash other teams if possible, just hop.

Death Rule:
If a person dies during a trip or event they must be given a split for the next 5 kills.
With exception to the above 'Death' rule, if you’re not present when an item is dropped, you are not entitled to a split.

*Subject to change only when agreed upon by ALL members of the event.

Raids/ToB

The levels and gear required for raids are only found on the discord; therefore, these events may only be attended by ranked members.

1) All drops from white chests belong to the player who obtained them.

2) All drops from purple chests must be given to the highest ranking member to be put into the split pool and splits will be issued immediately after the raid is done.

3) Clan members who are disconnected during a trip are still entitled to a split as long as they participated in the final boss fight.

*Subject to change only when agreed upon by ALL members of the event.

Ranks

Here at Los Monos we decided to use the in-game gems to assign ranks. The longer you've been in the clan; the higher gem you are.

Sapphire: Month 1

*Depending on the exact date of your join date within the month, you may or may not qualify for the next rank until the following month. This is to prevent members from joining too late into the month and getting a rank up with only a few days in under their belt.


Emerald: Month 2

Ruby: Month 3

Diamond: Month 4

Dragonstone: Month 5

Onyx: Month 6

Zenyte: Month 12

Gnome Child: The alt account of one of our members.

Grey Square: Easily identify an inactive player.

Helped form Los Monos with Noob but now AFKs. If he's not ignoring us in chat, he's not grinding.

Duke is Los Monos' friendliest member, he is always welcoming others and will offer his advice to everyone.

Council

Johnrwaz
Starting fresh from a lvll 3 account, John returned to OSRS in early 2020 and joined Los Monos shortly after. One of our longest active members, you’ll often find him afking while at work or pvming with the clan in the afternoon.

Mesin
A true gamer that has played RuneScape since they were young and OSRS since 2013, Mesin joined Los Monos in early 2021 so he didn’t go insane during his max grind. After getting a couple Inferno completions, maxing and teaching some ToB, he now continues the grind on his GIM.

Goateigh
After playing RuneScape 2 from 2005 until EoC, Goateigh returned in April 2020 and soon after joined Los Monos where he was an active Discord and in-game Clan Chat community leader. Nowadays, his IRL responsibilities made him take a step back from Los Monos leadership duties, though oftens hops on to join monos for raids and social events.

WhatTheDaze
Started playing RuneScape 2 shortly after release. Returning to OSRS on release day, Daze dove into the nostalgic era of 2008. Daze is now known more for hosting events such as Clan Bingo and doing all sorts of clan PVM.

HADES98x
Restarted OSRS in late 2020 as a total noob to members worlds. He slowly made his way to a decent PVM-er. He is known as the spoon of the clan.
