Clan rules and guidelines.
It is important for both the health of the game, and our clan for us to hold ourselves to a high ethical standard. To ensure that we create a positive impact on the game, and those around us. As such we expect maturity from our members, with productive and healthy interactions. Listed below will be the explicit rules and guidelines, others left off this list fall under common sense.
1. Abide by Jagex's rules.
2. Treat one another with kindness and respect, disagreements can be settled in private in a productive manner. Agree to disagree, or take the situation to clan staff members if no solution is found.
3. Avoid crashing people for worlds, unless it's new content where it cannot be helped.
4. No begging for money, or lends. Respect each persons items and their freedom to play this game as they see fit. A lend is a kindness and not a mandatory obligation they need to fulfil to you.
5. Use collateral if you consider borrowing items (this means to trade items of equivalent value of the item you're lending out or borrowing) This ensures no scamming takes place.
6. Avoid tough conversations such as religion, politics, and other of this nature, there is a time and a place for everything, but not so much in an open forum in a game. It requires delicacy and due diligence.
7. No promoting bad habits, or unhealthy lifestyles, it is important that we are careful when we talk about what we like to do, to ensure we're not promoting health choices that may negatively impact younger people in the game (amongst others also). Focus on helping others building healthy habits.
8. Due to the many types of account modes in the game, ensure there is clear communication on group activities, as to how drops will be split. Please ensure there is clarity before a trip starts, or a player joins. This ensures everyone can have fun and be aware of what they're getting into.
