About Us

We are named after the late and great Stan Lee; Excelsior is a Latin word meaning “ever upward” - and in his own words: "Upward and onward to greater glory."

Like many others, I’ve been playing RS since childhood and after a long unavoidable break (about 4 years) I’m back. Some of my fondest early online memories and friends were made across Gielinor. Although I still keep in contact with some of these friends, most don’t play anymore. I’ve created
Excelsior
in hopes to make new friends and keep the game alive.

Excelsior
is an all-inclusive community: whether you’re brand new or a veteran with two decades of experience or somewhere in between, we welcome you with open arms.

NOTE
: We can make some exceptions for extremely well progressed accounts that do not otherwise meet our requirements. That being said, exceptions are always at leadership's discretion so don't be too shy to apply!

Feel welcome to join as a guest until you meet the requirements to join our ranks.

We don't want to become a massive CC so this requirement is primarily in place to avoid recruiting players who don't intend to keep playing the game. Beginning clan ranks are time-based but as you gain tenure in the clan, rank is associated with a point system we have created. The points system is explained in our clan Discord server.

Clan Leadership


Leadership is selected based on player's responsibility, respect, participation, and more. Being selected for leadership requires further involvement and expectations will be outlined prior to your promotion. You may refuse a promotion. All clan leadership must be in the clan for a minimum of one year.
