This cc has a wonderful community cultivating within it. I appreciate all the advice, stories, and conversation that take place in it. However, the admins that currently have the power to kick players have clearly spun out of control with their power. Numerous times, I have seen player(s) kicked for situational misinterpretation of the rules. If that confuses you, I am happy to elaborate!
I, among many of the players have been kicked unreasonably, and typically based on an admins mood. For instance, tonight I simply asked, "What justification [other than rules] do you have for limiting other peoples' freedom of speech?", and I was kicked. This a simple question, out of interest. It was not mean spirited, nor was I rude before that. I am a person who is curious about what people think and like to provoke thoughtful conversation, dealing with outside-of- game events. I usually get a great, positive response, showing that other people are interested and eager to open up. On the other hand, one person in a bad mood crushes it all because “no talk of _______ in here” is only the beginning of their façade of control.
As a part of an older generation, I am concerned with the lack of sensitivity to our natural rights. Additionally, I am concerned with lack of understanding. However, that is another discussion.
Please, if a player has an interest in carrying a discussion you do not want a part of, examine your options; for instance, simply click the "ignore player" button. Not only does it avoid conflict later on, but also you look mature.
