I wanted to reach out to see if anyone else is experiencing the same issues as I am, and if you guys have any suggestions. I have the jagex launcher installed on my PC, and I am trying to install/download the new official OSRS client. I currently have the legacy client installed and that still works, but when I try to install the new official client, I get this error message:
Error: The launcher has experienced an error code and needs to close. Process returned unknown error code.
It then crashes the launcher and I have to reopen it. I have uninstalled, restarted, and reinstalled with the same results. I have installed it as administrator, and launched the jagex launcher as administrator to make sure it wasn't a permission issue. I also made sure the file path that it was trying to download/install from was a valid file path. Any other thoughts on what I could try?
