I absolutely can't agree with you on what we see in the OSRS type of "celebration" of Milstone Events are emblematic of the way of the internet. Feel free to look at all kinds of games and tell us what reasonably sized games have just one regular 5 minute seasonal quest.

We don't have to look far away actually. Just look at what we got in RS3's RS20 celebration. We have a month long of in game events covering all kinds of in game activities including quests, combat, minigames, giveaways, a year long minigame series covering all of RS3 in the past, present, and future.

Not at all. The other games have influencers too, but they also have big in game celebration events too, unlike OSRS.

So, OSRS has apparently forgotten the Milestone OSRS 10th Anniversary the second they ended the livestream 8 days ago.

According to Mod Ayiza, they were going to do a Jmod playthrough on the Anniversay event, but for some reason they couldn't do it that day, and Mod Ayiza said they would do it either the following Monday or Thursday (02:42:00):
