A lot of players are already complaining about the "lackbuster" and "disappointing" DT2 rewards. We can see plenty of such questions from yesterday's OSRS DT2 Q&A Livestream.

If they remove raw fish, DT2 boses will be really trash, not worth the time.

Actually, I can see OSRS putting even more and more skilling resources to pvm drop tables, especially when they continue to fail to make pvm actually fun with new mechanics other than prayer switching.

yes but they can drop alch itemor give them cooked food so they can use it for boss again or stay at boss longer.

Issue here is boss can be done with prayer flick so less food used but also drop raw fish whcih imapct fishing only.

Forestry made sink for willow log etc where people will trade log so there was blance. I feel they faild the balance for this.

Then players will be complaining about inflation due to gp from alchs.

The issue is they have to rob Peter to pay Paul in this crumpled economy. There probably is no increase of players (and therefore demand of items like raw fish), if not an actual decrease (at least concurrent players count peaked at 132k, even lower than 135k in April and January).

DT2 is predominantly lackbuster to most players, so OSRS just continues to sacrifice the skilling Paters to pay the bossing Pauls.

The new rings are plummeting on the street, and even Virtus are 20% off the 40 mil starting price. The new DT2 bosses may not be worth doing soon, if not already.

This makes it hard to remove or change resources like raw fish from the drop table. You know what, stone or fish spirits, perhaps? :P
