I understand that its a random number generated to give certain odds but can anyone explain in any further detail? Some things just do not add up. Like getting a vissy at 4kc vork but going 122 TOA dry and 600 bandos dry. What % chance is it to hit the "rare" table and furthermore what odds do you have of hitting a item on that table? Iv'e camped TOA for 2 weeks straight with no luck and it's drained my bank completely so I want to know how this works.
Also, how do the new bosses work? I haven't found anything too specific but From what i understand you need to hit the rare table 3 times to get a ring. That's supposed to help with "ba luck" But that makes absolutely no sense. If can't hit the rare table one time how the hell will i hit in 3 times? And there should be a way to see if you hit that table. I think its just crazy that in 500k kc nobody had gotten the ring. But it's supposed to be better this way? I'm overall lost with the RNG % and chances and i didn't find anything that helped me.

sometimes you roll a 6 straight away. sometimes you have to roll it 20 times before getting 6


the new bosses however work differently. and jagex have not given proper drop rates on them. so we have no idea.

I don't know. I listened to Jagex's Q&A regarding how they changed the drop rate mechanics with these new bosses because "nobody likes to go dry," however, I'm over 1,020 kc at Vardorvis and currently feel the most dry I have ever felt in this game. No robes, no vestige, no axe piece. Really hoping this turns around soon because it has been a disappointment grinding this out since completing the quest on release day with hopes of being one of the first to get their hands on these new uniques.

Many of us asked this question in maxxed & this is what a J-Mod said or close to it (working from memory alone).

Imagine different wheels spinning, you have a common wheel, a uncommon wheel a rare wheel & a rarer wheel. some of the rarer drops are filled with empty, ashes, uncut gems, that means you got unlucky. Wearing a ring of wealth takes away half those unlucky's. This information is seriously out-dated so may no longer be relevant.
