Bots are even bigger problems in 2023 and technical issues in maintaining old games are even more observable now. OSRS Jmods have already talked about "spaghetti codes" in many situations. The problems can actually be more than just "spaghetti codes" but IMO they might have serious problems in multiple disciplines including sharing multiple profiles between different games or OSRS game modes, as well as memory leaks in their C++ implementations where their Jave/Runescript Jmods aren't familiar with, and mistaken them as "spaghetti codes".

We don't want to reinstate RSC and have some OSRS content indefinitely postponed because of unannounced technical issues, or have bonds lost mysteriously when we update just a few harmless trees, when OSRS has more than enough of these issues to tackle for themselves already.

First off, there is no version of they can recreate. The only reason they were able to make osrs was they had some old versions on some old computers that were headed to recycling. Those old version no longer exist.

Secondly, there is not enough people for a new version. opps did not mean to quote this. I meant to fix a word from now to not.

The problem is what they define as "the right thing" is often only right for a small group. For example, a company that hires a group to do nothing at all, just because they do not have enough qualified candidates in the company, does not do anyone any justice. Recently (I'll not mention names) a company got bought out and the new owner fired about a third of the people working there because they did nothing but check off a box on the "victim" list. They had no skills and did no work, but just went about talking about how much of a victim they were.

As a result of these people being able to do nothing and get high salaries, a lot of other people demanded that other companies hire them for the same reason. Most companies can not afford to have people working for them that do nothing, but when these people get hired, they make tons of noise about how its unfair they are expected to do the work they are being paid for.

Is it the "right thing" to teach young people that they have a right to be paid high salaries and do nothing for he company that hired them? That is what a lot of woke people are pushing.

No, the right thing would be to teach the young people that they can do anything, no matter what their race, religion, or ethnicity, or their rainbow standing, or lack of, BUT it requires hard work.

If your referring to make OS OSRS... AGAIN like the 5th thread ive read about this it wont happen. And if it did happen same issues that OSRS has would go to NEW OS OSRS or whatever you want to call it, swarmed with bots, swarmed with new updates, swarmed with scammers, lures, and every other lowly scum under the sun who has never felt a womans touch. And then there would be the 2% of sweaty losers who must get 200m in everything ASAP because they need ppl to be impressed for 15 seconds and then forget about it.
