Combat Achievements issue...

I logged into OSRS earlier...and there was a notification above my chat box - something about the Combat Achievements and suggesting for me to go and see Ghommal.

After talking to Ghommal at the Warrior's Guild - I was given another Ghommal's Hilt 1, as
well as a Ghommel's Hilt 2...plus a silver in colour exp reward lamp.

In my Combat Achievement interface...it say's I still have eleven tasks left to go before
I've completed the Medium tier tasks.

Am I missing something...as I thought I wasn't eligible for the Ghommal's Hilt 2 yet?

I left everything in my inventory and logged out...without using the exp lamp in case
this was some kind of error?

Jagex changed the way Combat Achievements work in this week's update.

Now, tasks of each tier provide a certain amount of 'points' and you get more points for completing harder tasks. It means you can reach the threshold set for earlier tiers of rewards by completing the harder tasks even if you haven't completed every task in that tier.
