A few years ago my career took off, so I wasn't able to play anymore, and as a result I lost my status as a Pmod due to inactivity. Now, my career is stable and I am actively playing the game again. Would it be possible to get reinstated, if so, how would I go about it? I still have my original pmod invitation letter as well.

I only want to be reinstated so I can mute all the ge spam once again. It seems much worse now, then when I used to be a pmod.

Hi there hope your well. Its great that you are back playing OSRS again and i can imagine that you have alot of content to catch up on, be it the new quests or visiting Nex again? The best advice i can give is just play the game like you used too and whilst enjoying the new or old content, Jagex may take notice. Unfortunatly we cant apply for P-Mod status, we can just play the game and follow all of Jagex’s rules.

Maybe you will get another invitation? I would love to get one also but no luck so far.
Thank you and stay safe.

Thanks Zanon23, it has taken me about a year to catch up on all the updates I've missed.

Tren, I figured there wasn't anything I could do, and I have read that post, but I thought I'd ask. It's a shame to see how bad ge has become, and I am unable to do anything about it anymore, except to report and ignore the rulebreakers.

Hey there Pop.

While having player moderators present can be reassuring and enjoyable, I do want to point out that their impact might not be as significant as we hope in regards to this specif issue that you pointed out.. The issue with bots spamming at the Grand Exchange is persistent and highly automated. As soon as one bot is reported and muted by a player moderator, another one seems to pop up almost instantly to take its place. This creates a continuous cycle where the effectiveness of player moderators is somewhat limited.

I believe Player Moderator's presence have a positive effect in dealing with other rule-breaking behavior and improving the overall atmosphere of the game. However, in my opinion, it would not be the solution for this specific problem.

Other than that, completely agree with this:

These bots need to pay for membership, so it is costing the people running these bots money every time they get muted, or banned.

When I was a pmod, I noticed they would detect that they were muted and have another bot take it's place, but eventually they run out of accounts and the ge becomes quiet again. So, while it might not solve the botting issue, at the very least, it provides the ge with some peace for a while. I'm sure many players are annoyed to see spam every time they go to the ge.
