Tourist trap, help!

I died with Ann in my inventory as I was turning in the quest, dam camel jumped me. I tried to go back and get her shes isn't there. In the Mines nor the barrel. I've tried doing on winch to get a barrel back up and nothing. What should I do.

If talking to the quest npc to finish doesn't do it, check deaths coffer and if she's not there go alllll the way back underground and put her in a barrel again.

Or you know....check what step your up to in the quest log.
