I appreciate the forum mods doing there job I really do. I appreciate you. But at the same time you are brushing the community under the rug. I thought this was general chat? Regardless of whether this was about someone unknown to the community or someone that a large portion of the community looks up to, the threads would be dealt with the same. As explained on the previous thread, discussions regarding a player's offense status aren't permitted on the forums, and that status is between Jagex and that player only.

Most threads on this topic have either been discussing the player's offense status, or have been bringing up accusations towards other players or Jagex Staff. Those too are not permitted on the forums, and is covered in the forum Code of Conduct :

Be respectful of your fellow forumers.
Don't target specific players with accusations.

After all, that is all this situation really is - accusations about the conduct of other people.
The accusations being thrown around are pretty massive in scale, and while its clear that there is community interest in them and people are outraged by them, there is no way for anyone here to be able to verify whether said accusations are truthful or not. What is being pushed out there is only one side of the story.

Hence, as was stated on the previous thread, if Jagex wishes to make a statement on the matter, they will do so via the appropriate platforms at the appropriate time. Until that time, these are nothing but accusations, and accusations towards others aren't permitted on the forums, regardless of who they are about.

One post that named one of the individuals being accused of wrongdoing has been removed.
