More than two weeks passed and OSRS FSW today is not much different than when it started.
Most players in OSRS FSW are doing the same old things in OSRS, and there are plenty of the same old botting and cheating bans reported just like OSRS.
There seem to be the same old 2k concurrent members. No gain but no loss. So it doesn't look like OSRS is getting many new players. Anyway, some people have to pay Jagex real money to let those 2k OSRS FSW members play, Jagex is still the winner.
With OSRS officially endorsing gp swapping between FSW and main OSRS today, even it is obviously trust trade which Jagex allow but never seem to recommend in the past, it seems like OSRS has backed off from their original claim OSRS FSW is aimed for new and returning players.
They now encourage existing players to swap gp with FSW. Of course, this will affect the main OSRS community.
Since OSRS is far more focused on FSW, I think we may have a situation like GIM. I predict the usual bigger events OSRS rely on like Leagues won't happen near or after the end of OSRS FSW, given the "success" of FSW, similar to the "success" of GIM pushed Leagues 3 off the Summer Summit road map.

OSRS just delayed Wilderness Boss Rework to next year today. Seems even more so my prediction they are focusing on the OSRS FSW because it "far exceeded expectation".
Don't see the appeal in FSW but good luck to those that do.
Join XP Wasters - 1 Billion+ in Giveaways/Prizes in January. A lot of fun PvM/Skill events.

The "appeal" in OSRS FSW is probably similar to GIM. We see GIM fizzled after 2 weeks and soon GIM members were allowed to group outside their own group. Anyway, if Quest Speedrunning is HUGE to OSRS, maybe OSRS FSW is appealing too, but to me players are farming and swapping gp in OSRS FSW. Nothing more.

"There will be a League in 2023, and it'll be in the second half of the year."
- The OSRS Team, Winter Summit 2022 - Countdown, 05 December 2022
Easy prediction and easily I am right again. Sorry no Leagues when they are running OSRS FSW.
So the OSRS Winter Summit is over and the roadmap is out. It is 100% no surprise similar to the GIM saga, we are getting no key content in the next 4 months when we still have OSRS FSW.
Even so, plus OSRS advocates gp swapping between the core OSRS and FSW OSRS, there aren't many players left in FSW with still 4 months ahead.
What do you think about the future of OSRS FSW? Do you think we are getting new and returning players from OSRS FSW? Do you want to see another FSW after this one?
"Fresh Start Worlds are now officially over! Thank you to everyone who took part in our experiment. We hope you all enjoyed your time playing in a world with a fresh economy and firsts!"
When OSRS didn't say how huge and how successful a project is, usually it is not too promising. They also didn't run a FSW survey like RS3 did. So, I guess they aren't thinking about another FSW, at least not anytime soon.
Do you want another OSRS FSW? What's your prediction?
