Even though the rewards were nerfed to butt. Im still excited to do the quest. Im prepping by training con to unlock all teleports to save time. (Hopefully this skill really sucks.) Might buy some extra pots and food too since the bosses will probably spank meh.

How are you prepping?

Nothing much really, as only a selected few invited to beta test of DT2 (and perhaps their friends too) know about what to prepare and what items to stock up for the quest and profit from the economy, and OSRS has yet to reveal what existing items are involved, so there is nothing for us not in the know to prepare.

If you care about the stories, perhaps you can get yourself a little more immersed by reading/watching Zarosian Mahjarrat content, Ritual of the Mahjarrat, as well as Duke Sucellus and Senntisten content widely available in all kinds of RS3 videos/blogs (if you haven't played them in RS3).

Finally we got an official announcement from OSRS telling us what to prepare for DT2:

"To make sure you're prepared for our most ambitious quest yet, here's what to expect on Wednesday:

▪️ 9:45 - Shutdown Timer live
▪️ 10:30 - Game goes offline
▪️ 11:00 - Game is back online and it's time to quest"

Hmm.. OK.... make sure you're prepared for the OSRS servers to shut down at 9:45 this Wednesday, and seemingly nothing else.
