The point is, you still have to do the skill, even if you buy all the material. IF you buy spins, you do not do any work.

The point is again, we can't buy all the spins we need to max herblore from level 1 and use them in one day. Jagex has imposed a key limit on TH keys long ago. However, we can buy 15-20 bonds for just $100-150 to max herblore in OSRS in less than one day.

It's nostalgia for me as well. I also really like the simplicity of the game, no need for hundreds of different ability combinations to kill a monster for example.

And the fact that we get to vote for updates we want or don't want as a community. (Polling system)

The dramas... not the stories in the game of OSRS as there aren't many, but the dramas outside the game.... There are always a lot of dramas among players like griefing, boosting etc... content creators slinging muds among themselves... players pointing fingers at Jmods... Jmods in real life Court Case vs The People, or vs Jagex (although we don't have Court Cases in OSRS)... and some juicy former Jmods testimonies about the "darkside of OSRS"...

Extra bonus, video game industry acclaimed critics opinions on these dramas...

Dramas really mean a lot more than some players think, and deserved more discussion why I play OSRS.

Games are entertainment nowadays. RS3 and plenty of other games have great dramas in their lore, but few have the kinds of out of the game dramas OSRS has. Even some notorious game critics who think OSRS content is "cherry on the top" when he spent a day getting paid and playing it and didn't even get to the Waterfall Quest, but became amused with OSRS dramas outside the game.

Out of the game dramas are amusement too, as long as I get my popcorn and stay away of where the dramas affect me in the game. People do watch People's Court and read dumb Kim kardashian dramas because most people are interested in ongoing stories. :)
