This is going to be short and simple.

For the last 9 years I've been playing this account from the same city because it's where I live. Here in the coming weeks, I'm taking a 6 month trip out of the country (6,000+ miles away) from where my account has been pinging this whole time. My question is, would my account have any possibility of getting flagged for real world trading / account selling / account hijacking / etc if I managed to log in to play at my temporary home? I'm bringing a wifi puck with me to bounce it off of the cell towers from the local area so I can play on mobile to get passive xp. I'm really nervous to try playing while I'm gone, this is my only account in the game so if I lost it, I can honestly say I'd never return. Someone once told me that I was fine if I have 2 Step Authenticator but that has been the only individual who has been able to give me any type of answer. Any advice pertaining to this topic would be greatly appreciated!

It shouldn't be a problem. My suggestion to you is to completely secure your account to ensure that you have the best security options available. You should take a look at the Security tips Support article for guidance on how to do that. Also, if you haven't already done so, you ought to consider upgrading your account to a Jagex Acount as the overall security of your account will increase tremendously.

As Tenebri mentioned. Jagex is aware that people do periodically relocate.

I'll give an example. I'm in the United States, if I were to login from home play and logout cause I'm taking a trip to Italy. Login like 18 hours later from Milan. It might flag my account for review as I'm not prone for making many international trips. However it's also a reasonable time span that maybe I'm traveling and merits observing for potential problems.

However if I always play from America logout and suddenly log back in half way around the world. There is obviously something there that warrants investigation. Cause other than potentially using a VPN to hide my location. I can't possibly have moved that quickly to that location without someone else logging in.
