Unbanning player in clan chat?

So long story short... We had someone in our clan get hacked, and the hacker was asking for loans and hand outs so they were kicked and banned from our clan. The account owner has since secured their account and would like to be re-invited to the clan. The game will not allow me to remove them from my Clan's Ban list by clicking unban. The game indicates in the Game chat, "That player was not found on the list." when I attempt to Unban them, but their in-game name is visibly still on the list. When I attempt to reinvite the player the Game chat states, "(Player Name) is banned from the clan's channel, so they may be unwelcome in the clan!" I'm at a loss for what to do to get this resolved. Is this a bug? Hopefully someone from Jagex can help me.

Are you the clan owner, and if so, is this person added to your ignore list? This could be contributing to the issue.

Another possibility I didn't see you mention in your post is whether you have admin rights to the clan if you aren't the owner. If you don't have admin rights, you'll be unable to ban/unban them. It wasn't clear to me from your post who instated the ban, yourself or another player in the clan.

If neither of these solves your issue, maybe someone else in the forum can better assist us.

I appreciate your response. I am the clan owner. I have tried to unban this player and re-invite on my main account (Ermwell) and on my GIM account (Big Papa Erm) and have had the same results. They are not on my ignore list in-game on either account.

It seems like it may just be some kind of bug in the clan chat system that needs to be worked out. (shrugs)
