Got my first superior slayer mob, a "shadow wyrm" killed it with barely a minute before server went down just now. Wiki says the average kill for one of these is worth 100k or so. Mine was worth 4800ish gold, not counting the bones. Got an adamant axe, a cooked bass and some soul runes.

Sad days waiting so long for such a big nothing lol. Heres hoping my next superior is worth more lol

Yes, it is an average. That means that while one kill might be worth 5k or less, another kill could be worth 200k or more. Both extremes are rare. IF you got a clue from it, it could easily have been worth a lot more.

Just not the best luck, you'll hopefully consider the poorer drops to be pretty rare later.

That's just how RNG works, averages are certainly no guarantee. All the best though and I hope the RNG gods are on your side next time.
