I'm an enormous fan of things like Swampletics' Morytania locked UIM or Deserted's Desert locked UIM. I think they're an incredibly dedicated and fun challenge and it's been a joy to watch.
I would very much like it if Jagex created a provision for people to do the same thing, but in a more organized fashion: Accounts that are actually restricted upon creation. Similar to how new players can choose to become an Ironman, I'd really like to be able to choose the same kind of thing. You pick a region and you're dropped off there upon finishing the tutorial and away you go, but the game actually stops you from leaving that region. Throw in a little icon that's unique to that type of account like how we have the Ironman helmets for a little flashy "look what I did!" street cred and you're golden.
This type of thing doesn't seem to be very demanding on Jagex coding resources at all and allowing people more choices (or allowing them to restrict their choices in this case, haha!) is always a good thing.
Hopefully Jagex will implement something like this someday.
