Lol, good drop is good drop. ^
In other new, whips are now 2m+ ea wth is going on? 0_o
I think tons of pvm items have risen 10-20% due to flipping giving them extra demand. SGSs were ~36M and now 40M+, arcanes were 58M and now 73M, blowpipes 14M jumped to 18M, etc.
hmmm... but how does flipping cause an increase in price?

Tons of people who usually would own 0 of said item might now have a few. I've personally set buy walls and driven up price of items and people started trading at the higher range. PVM items may also just be correcting itself to show how much they're really worth since now all items are traded much more frequently. People may also expect more money from bossing when many can flip for a fair chunk of profit with little time input.
There are tons of flippers right now so it can be easy to cut supply then have the flippers take it off your hands at a higher price. Some items have already risen a lot so I'd be careful what you try and flip because price movements can go either way fast.
Don't the buy limits come into effect though? For most of the mid-highis* stuff it's about 6-8 so I can't see that giving much room to buy out the existing supply and create a higher range

8 GWD items every 4 hrs per person is a lot. Remember there aren't as many items in the game and there are a lot of flippers competing for the same items. Many of these items have already risen to new heights though and people returning to pvm could bring them back down.
All the money from flipping pvm gear could shift to resources when prices stop crashing and Jagex relax the limits more though.
This rise could also just be a self-fulfilling prophecy. A relatively well known mercher said he expected pvm gear to rise and tons of merchers buying into pvm gear could've caused this. Just now rs3 has seen some crazy phat rises in recent months due to hoarding, it crashed earlier hard earlier today though.

yeah I get it's quite a lot, but wouldn't a flipper want the buy price to be as low as possible, and the sell as high as possible, with those kinda cancelling out? Of course, unless their intention is to buy it now for relatively high to then sell at a later, higher price. I can see how that'd cause a price rise. Like with shield left halves... that was a fun 8 minutes.
Seems to be getting a bit rocky right now in any case for mid level stuff. Not been the best of days for me today

PVM gear is kinda high atm and many resources are cheap so we could see people moving their money there. Margins are really small due to all the flippers but that also mean prices can change really quickly.
Anyways I instant-bought cball 180gp earlier, if anyone wants to slay they can enjoy cheap cballs. Steel bars are so cheap now I'm guessing due to blast furnace growing in popularity which in turn means cballs dropping.
i felt like range training with a cannon is too slow/wasting too much gp. maybe im being cheap or something but id much rather just mindless go to the ranged guild
