Sorry for the wall of text but this can't go unappreciated.

So story time, I just started back playing this past Sunday after almost a 3 years hiatus. I decided I wanted to finish getting the quest cape on osrs like back in the day.

Anyway, so I'm standing in the GE attempting to purchase a fury and zerk ring at GE price. No luck, I was strapped for cash as it was so I figured I would ask in public if anyone was kind enough to help out. I notice a player stating he is about to drop a whip. I got ready with a tele grab to try my luck. Sure enough the player really did. Shortly after he dropped a sara sword. I was sitting here chatting with my IRL GF about it. She has never played rs so I was explaining it to her in WOW terms. The girl who picked up the whip was so happy, her words not mine, "I'm about to cry".

Since this player was feeling generous I figured I would ask if he would be so kind to sell my a fury and zerk at GE price. Sure enough within seconds he traded me these two items for the going GE price. I thanked him whole heartily and typed out a few more thankful messaged about the player and his generosity.

The player then said oh man it's no big deal, and thanked me. Next thing I know he is trading me again. I accept thinking maybe he wanted to show me the next item he was going to drop. Not this players, no he openly gave me 4mil, of the 4.9m I gave him for the items, back! I hope he doesnt mind me throwing his name out like this but, loLiTzOnlyMe, I wish there were more people like you the world. Not just runescape or other games, but the world. You are truly generous and have made many people happy tonight. Thank you again!

TLDR: Read this whole post dang it!!! this player deserves some credit.

If you hang around the GE long enough it seems you're bound to find someone dropping stuff. Rarely anything that's actually worth much, but last time I managed to snag myself a d chain from one of those.

Jeban that is sweet!!. Ive met some pretty awesome people at the ge before. One time there was a group of people with the ale of the gods just hanging out and one of them gave me one just because i was the only one hanging out with them that didnt vave one lol, which is like almost 3m i think? Ended up joining his cc and all the people there are nice and helpful

I don't really know where else to put this, but in the past few days I've had a bunch of pks turn out to either not be my loot or just disappear. Is this a bug or am I just running into a large amount of scumbags?

Hello guys, so today i just logged in into my acc (osrs) And i saw that i was standing in lumbridge for no reason... I walked to bank and saw that all of my bank was gone. It was like 3m, its not a lot, but it was all i had. I just wanted to ask, if it is possible to look with what account it was traded? I just want to know who got all this money and items. If there is nothing possible, maybe there is some people who are generous and can give me some money back. My nickname is frozeN2K. Best wishes... :)

Sorry to hear you've been hacked :(

There's not a way for us players to see where the items were traded to, but you can email
[email protected]
to inform them that you've been hijacked - They will be able to track where your belongings went and hopefully ban those involved. While it won't get your items back, it may prevent them from targeting someone else in the future

I'd also recommend following the steps here to secure your computer & account from further hijacks :)

Hello, got a question, but I just tried to start on Old School Runescape for the first time, as I wanted to try Hardcore Ironman mode. However, it skipped the tutorial Island for me.
Does this mean I can't play as an Ironman or Hardcore Ironman?
