i played pre eoc mostly during the rs2 era

when bh first came out it was both f2p and p2p and it was literally the most popular form of content in f2p

heard jagex recently brought the game mode back so i came back just to find out that it's only for members

why is it only for members when the original game mode was for both?

pretty sure if you just made bh f2p again it would completely revive f2p pking; right now it's actually disgusting how dead and garbage it is

Getting a members account banned is a bigger deterrent than getting a f2p account banned.

99% of the people that f2p pked in the original bh in 07 had members, especially the ones at the top with maxed stats and zerker accounts

they just prefer f2p pk to p2p pk

it makes no sense that they bring back a content from 16 years ago and restrict it for f2p players when it was available to them in the first place

Financial conditions of RS2 in 2007 and OSRS in 2023 are very different. Runescape in 2007 was growing fast, but OSRS in 2023 is regressing.

If RS3 didn't have other revenue streams other the membership and bonds, BH efore its removal would probably be members only too.
