For the love of everything can jagex please stop making very poor decisions on updates that result in multiple areas of the game and of the economy being destroyed, and at this point. Indefinitely. Numerous items were/are still recovering from the TOA update. Some of which looked like they would never recover but then they started to just in the last few weeks. Boom the secrets of the north update. Now those items more than likely will never recover.

Now im no genius but i have enough common sense and IQ to understand that when you add something into a drop table for new content and temporarily/permanently disrupt/ruin that items economic value. You give it time to recover so that the item doesn't become worthless/irrelevant. IE you don't add it into the drop table of anything for the next update or anything's drop table for up to at least 1 year.

So again why are drops that we're just ruined by TOA. Now also in the New bosses drop table??? Jagex please rework the drop table on the new boss as its going to permanently ruin items that are already severely damaged such as ranarr seeds.. I really cannot comprehend the decision behind adding the same items in the drop tables of new content as the most previously released content. Is it not obvious the idea should be to evenly affect the value of numerous items in a category in order to evenly affect market value vs completely destroying an items market value forever?
Jagex Please stop ruining your game with poor decisions.

Debatable but even if we consider this, This is part of the point im making. An IM finally gets to the point where they can farm ranarr seeds or do ranarr herb runs and they now have a decent source of income after grinding for it. Now that source of income is worthless and so was their time grinding for it. With so many options, I just don't understand why they would use the same items in the drop table as they did in the previous content. Realistically they should pull ranarr seeds from this bosses drop table. The rest are fine at this point as they we're not massively damaged in the last update for TOA. Jagex Please stop ruining your game with poor decisions.

That's honestly nothing, people have lost way more because of the mindless decisions jagex makes. Just look at at the massive losses in rs3 from TH re-releases, Tokens worth billions now worth only a few mill. My advice to you and everyone would be, don't overly invest your time into acquiring skills or items, they can literally devalue years worth of effort in an instant.

You may be interested to see there is a section in this week's update newspost (added this morning) regarding the loot table and some tweaks that they have made to it today.

In short, they opted to reduce the quantity of some of the drops (including ranarr seeds as you highlighted).

It seems that this new content was added in a rush without further thinking about impacts.
Recent drop table is completely destroying only one skill that was worthwhile doing, which is farming. I do not follow why you keep adding monsters that are actually substituting reason to do any skill. Also, it's nice to add more xp as rewards for the quests, but I do not follow why there's such a massive xp for quest in skills that are barely used within the quest itself. I think level of the quest should be based on overall effort rather than just on combat interferences during it. Worst example was to make Swan song to give such an xp even though i would consider that one as easy or medium at max.

It is a matter of the main objective of the update. I think OSRS looked at the engagement numbers in the past post-quest bosses and decided bigger rewards are merited.

They may have found the boss to be not much a challenge and the rewards may be too good for the efforts after the release so they nerfed them just after one day.

They have also acknowledged the feedbacks are mixed. I see they are probably still observing the player feedbacks and may still make further adjustments later.

Venator Bow not being tradeable probably will cause a lot of players to stop going after the Muspah shortly anyway so it may not affect general resources too significantly after a while, but the new T80 bow will likely affect Tbows and such.
