Hello all,

I've recently purchased a custom 2-key macropad (popular with players of "osu!" ) that I'm hoping I can utilize for single-key keybinds.

For context, the product specifically is the Sim Pad Nano by Momokai.

I'm well-read in the rules surrounding mouse keys and their legality, and I'm a frequent user of mouse keys for things like alching, ardy knights, and other repetitive click-intensive tasks.

My research into the details of this rule have led me to understand that using ANY software outside of built-in system Accessibility mouse keys (which would presumably include the custom driver software for this device) to rebind to a single-click, even 1-to-1, is against the rules.

If this is indeed the case, does anyone know of a way to rebind TO the system mouse click key or change which key is used for the "click"? e.g. 1 input on keypad -> 1 input of "i" key -> 1 click -or- 1 input on keypad (which IS the "i" key) -> 1 click

Alternatively, if anyone can speak to the contrary of my understanding or has had success with a similar device, advice would be appreciated.

Just trying to save my wrist / hand from more carpal tunnel pain, and with playing on a laptop, the "i" key (no numpad) is such an annoying spot ... not to mention far from f-keys.

Thanks!

EDIT: reassigning to NUM-5 works perfectly. All good!

Idk about keybinds i myself have a mouse with a button for 3 burst fire (for fps games) which would probably lead to a ban on RS if i used it, but i never click it and no ban yet so they cant just detect it, the mouse is also capable of macros i guess like click once wait 2 seconds click again which i obv dont use since im still typing this. Its also got numbers 1-12 along the side which usually respond to the key 1-10 though ive never tried on OSRS or RS3. That being said i use my mouse like you would a regular mouse and ive never received a ban. The macro program would lead to a ban thats pretty obv, they 3 burst button would proably also be detected cause click 1 key 3 output or some such. The wiring the buttons on the side to keys idk, its not really practical since my fat fingers usually hit two of the side buttons anyways so i wouldnt bother.

If you cant get a direct mod answer on something or find SOLID proof you wont get banned for using it i wouldn't use it.
OSRS - Filled with harassers sad...~
- Give me Private Hiscores this should not be public information! - ! REMOVE OSRS TAX !

Thanks for your reply! Right as you were posting your message, I figured out that turning on mouse keys and rebinding the key to Numpad-5 works for the system mouse keys click.

I had initially been trying to set the bind to "i", which I should have realized was the wrong way to think about it :)
