Hello all,
I've recently purchased a custom 2-key macropad (popular with players of "osu!" ) that I'm hoping I can utilize for single-key keybinds.
For context, the product specifically is the Sim Pad Nano by Momokai.
I'm well-read in the rules surrounding mouse keys and their legality, and I'm a frequent user of mouse keys for things like alching, ardy knights, and other repetitive click-intensive tasks.
My research into the details of this rule have led me to understand that using ANY software outside of built-in system Accessibility mouse keys (which would presumably include the custom driver software for this device) to rebind to a single-click, even 1-to-1, is against the rules.
If this is indeed the case, does anyone know of a way to rebind TO the system mouse click key or change which key is used for the "click"? e.g. 1 input on keypad -> 1 input of "i" key -> 1 click -or- 1 input on keypad (which IS the "i" key) -> 1 click
Alternatively, if anyone can speak to the contrary of my understanding or has had success with a similar device, advice would be appreciated.
Just trying to save my wrist / hand from more carpal tunnel pain, and with playing on a laptop, the "i" key (no numpad) is such an annoying spot ... not to mention far from f-keys.
Thanks!
EDIT: reassigning to NUM-5 works perfectly. All good!
