Well, if higher price then it's very good for players that buys them in the website and sell in GE for quick cash! But for poor people that want's to earn in-game cash to buy Bonds for free memberships, it will be bad for them! If too cheap price, may be more bots in members!

Glad to see sellers get more profit. I don't see myself ever getting a pvm drop worth enough to buy tons of bonds with or get a 3rd age pick that would fund years of membership so as a seller of bonds from jagex store this price increase makes me happy.

What I want is for Jagex to pay attention to not just the bond prices, but how long it'll typically take a f2p player to earn one in game. I'm not too happy about the slow inflation of bonds while the money making methods get more and more degraded. Bots and related RWT issues are part of the problem to be sure, but I think there are other factors at work too. At the very least, we should consider the effect bond inflation will have on retaining newer players. Also, bond inflation combined with decreasing income from legit play is the sort of thing that entices players to engage in RWTing, gambling, scamming and other such behaviors against the rules.

Bonds were one of the reasons I came over to OSRS in the first place. I saw it as a way of testing my experience with the game, and I felt two weeks of membership with a bond was fine for semi-casual play. I don't want to see the prices explode to the levels they are in RS3.

The biggest problem I see is that in order to afford a bond you have to be a member for months before you have the skills to make enough to buy a bond, unless your a hard core bosser making a new account.

lol that dt2 hype

Its summer, kids are out bonds go up.
The problem is that it has been way too high for way to long for that to be the cause. When there an increase due to summer, it fell quickly. It is not falling the way it has been in the past.

Bond price correlates to membership demand. High membership demand causes increased bond demand. Summer time means more free time off. There's Desert Treasure 2 on the horizon, with Forestry Part 1 just released. People are excited. People are buying bonds so they have membership and coming back to play.

Apparently not what's shown in the game, at least not from the concurrent player count which shows a sizeable decrease rather.
