I have killed Dagannoth Prime multiple times while using the rune thrownaxe special attack targeting Dagannoth Rex. I am doing this in Leagues and using an armadyl cbow with the archer's embrace relic and bezerker relic if that is relevant. I still have not completed the task.

it will send them all the information possible, and will go the place they look at for new bugs.
