Haven't played forever I am really curious as to what happened to f2p pking.

No one no arm fights anymore, everybody fights in full rune, everybody safes even when they are in full rune, they pray overhead randomly when they are dying, no one knows how to properly eat, no one knows how to 1 tick 2h, there are no zerker cb levels 99% of f2p pking is just flooded with 40-80 cbs, no one risks anything even when they do no arm

Is there anyone that f2p pked from pre rs3 era that still plays? I mean how did so much stuff get lost in translation this is sad f2p pking used to be on par with members pking in terms of money making and fun, how it's just bots running around in full rune and eating at 35 hp praying overheads

and why is bounty hunter members only lmfao that would've revived f2p pk if it was free no?

Pking can be for fun. It is not always about looting the dead bodies of the others. It is not always about being good at it like esports that OSRS failed to pretend to be with the demise of DMM.

Like RS3, perhaps most OSRS players aren't doing hardcore pking anymore. Even Odablock is killing Demonic Glorillas now. He hasn't been pking much for months and just took a look at BH and left. Old school pkers have given up, and it is not just f2p.

Think if you are good pker in 2023, why don't you go play an esports game and win yourself millions of real $$$ and a lot of national fame?

Sorry, but it was proven that most of the people doing pking years ago were in their teens. The player base has matured. We do not get the kids any more and most of it is just the old timers (get off my yard you young wippersnapper) playing.

Well my little experience in PVP i can tell you this.

1. F2P pvp is not based on money so its alot more balanced. I dont have 1b + for a tbow and bis gear i have a life.
2. Everyone fricken multi logs in at least two accounts, so plan on being attacked by at least 2 more likely 3 people in the wildy with similar usernames. Its 100% bullshit but jagex dosnt care, it is in no way balanced.

Thats all i know about PKing in osrs.

Because OSRS will be making even less revenue if they make more content f2p. The game is already taking a negative 7% growth in revenue as shown in their last financial report. If more things become f2p, a lot of members won't pay and OSRS won't stay afloat.
