Definitely support this idea. I've been thinking about this very topic for a long time now. Especially when it comes to weapon stance animations, as I believe the current animations do not do the weapons justice. There is so much potential to this idea. I'd personally love it if you had the option to switch your weapon stance to various types.

Although on the other hand. I can understand why Jagex has been reluctant to add more combat animations to the game. As I know how difficult animations are to create. Regardless, I would hope that Jagex reads our requests and consider how much of an impact that these ideas would have. I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that cosmetic/appearance plays a major role in the overall enjoyment of the game.
