I highly support this!
-I would like to add, that having requirements for these overrides will be a bad idea.
- Maybe even use the armour sets people already bought, for example the normal armours, add these castle wars sets there as retro look. (Instead of the medium helmet, you add a full helm variant as in OSRS).
- And while we at it, we can than aswell add Retro God Trims to the G / T sets and transforming it in the old retro god sets upon choosing that color.
-Also add a White Armour color pack aswell to the normal armours and a white trimmed version to the G/T sets. (For the full helms and their different colors, just add more white armour variants, like the red, blue , green etc).
-Also add an option to choose Retro (Rune/Steel) Herhaldic Decorative Armour (Construction) to be shown for you and others. (Like the skillcape retro looks)
-Jagex I hope you read this, been trying to tweet idea's but no one seems to listen to how bad we want this in the game. It was a key feature of the game.
This made me play till what rs3 is now, these overrides are really key for Rs3 and their beloved players.
