This would be a system similar to Keepsake Keys, in which you can "Save" A name in your cosmetics inventory. Your character's account name could remain the same, and your nickname could act as a title or maybe a name in brackets. (Example: Auturias "Jack Rackham" The Green)
This would be a useful thing for Roleplayers so that a person no longer needs to change their names over and over, or have several alt accounts with different names if they want people to more easily recognise and remember a character's name during roleplay, and you don't end up with a person whose username is XXWWSWAGGERXXWW trying to roleplay a dwarf named Uthgard and nobody ever remembers his name or what he is playing as.
Of course, there would need to be a censor in place, no profane nicknames or stuff made to insult.
