Making them 'earnable' through challenges on an annual basis (as per previous idea), will retain some exclusivity and only the most interested would go after these.
Not really.
As if you can get them at all after their initial release will devalue them.
So how you came to the conclusion that theyd still be "exclusive" seems to prove you dont know what the word means.
I mean how can something be exclusive if its given out from a different source afterwards?
But these untradable cosmetics which are just forever exclusive and which most of the time sit in Diango and never see the light of day, it is quite silly to grandstand those who didn't get them when they were released.
Why does it matter if the items do/dont get used?
That doesnt mean they need to be devalued like this.
Why must items constantly be used for them not to be rereleased?
Considering that plenty of "exclusive" items that were given away at one point or another became available through other means (e.g. Flaming Skull, Scarecrow mask and others), I don't see why the same couldn't be applied to the rest of the cosmetic items/overwrites including this anniversary outfit.

Support.
Yet the ones you mentioned were never made under the pretense of be "exclusive" to begin with.
Also, why must actual exclusives be devalued just because non-exclusives have?
This make 0 sense.
Once again, if you cared about this so much, you shouldve gotten it when you could.
The only reason ppl want this so badly is due to it being exclusive. If they did just add it to sgs like every other "normal" outfit, ppl wouldnt be caring for it.
In another thread i suggested old rewards be earned but the year you earned them would be
on the examine option. That way anyone with the carrot the year it was released would still
stand out.
But that i guess is another topic, although it goes along with rereleasing old non tradeable rewards.
The richest person is not who has the most. It is who Needs the least.

If the only difference would be on the examine, wouldnt that pretty much be the same thing as rereleasing the item itself?
I mean to everyone else looking at it, thered be no difference.
