We haven't gotten many new Legendary pets recently (with TzTok-Ak being the only one we've had in years), and with the recent addition of Het's Oasis and the Restoration event, many of us have been spending a lot of time in the desert the past few weeks. Putting both facts together, I think a new desert-themed Legendary pet would be a fine addition to the Marketplace, and what would be a better desert-themed Legendary pet than getting our very own Genie? After all, while Genies exist in RuneScape (as we used to have a Genie random event, and the brother of that Genie plays a role in Spirits of the Elid), it's been a long while since we've seen any of them.
As for what it might look like and what its animations might be:
Baby
Appearance
: A standard genie lamp, hopping everywhere it goes.
Melee animation:
The lamp spins and lurches forward.
Ranged/Magic animation:
: The lamp magically coils up before forcibly releasing, as if spitting the projectile from its tip.
Death animation
: The lamp falls over.
Adolescent
Appearance:
A modern take on the current Genie model, hovering in a meditation pose. Still drags around its lamp behind it.
Melee
: A punch.
Ranged/Magic
: The genie sticks out its hand and snaps its fingers, as if conjuring the projectile into existence.
Death
: Turns into a cloud of smoke and gets sucked into the lamp. The lamp then falls over.
Adult
Appearance:
A giant genie (roughly the size of the Revenant Demon), shimmering with power with its arms folded. Still drags its lamp behind it.
Melee
: A flurry of rapid punches.
Ranged/Magic
: The genie raises its arms behind it, then powerfully claps its hands together, as if conjuring the projectile into existence.
Death
: Collapses to the ground, futilely grasping forward, before turning into smoke and getting sucked into the lamp. The lamp then falls over.
