So you know how Verac's Flail is a 2h weapon which counts as a 1h override?

Weird, right?

Anyway.

I'd like to request the ability to do that with every weapon.

Use 2H as 1H overrides.

Use 1H as 2H overrides.

And then get this:

So spicy...

Use Melee as Ranged Overrides, Magic as Melee, etc.

Would be so dope to cast fire bolt with my Saradomin Godsword.

Does it make sense in-game? Well no. But do cat ears make sense in-game? How about the Revenant Walk override?

So how would it work though?

Most basic would be if you are wielding a Maul-type item, then whatever override you pick would use a Maul attack animation.

Gets a little weird with Ranged, for sure.

Might make more sense if every non-Ranged override used over a Ranged weapon just acted like a Javelin.



These are two seperate suggestions, ideally:

1)
Don't discriminate between 1H and 2H, let us use whatever for whatever.

2)
Open season baby.
