I agree, warlord outfit custom dyed might be your best bet. Inherently you would want to find something that has that color purple of the crest already present in it and use a custom dye to off set the rest of it. The color combination is obscure to start with.
Anyway, here's an outfit i dug out of my vault I created around 3 or 4 years ago and recreated for fun.

Badass on the hunt (pink lenses look much better on Anima core zammy armour than clear ones)

Anima core of zammy is clearly one of my favorite keepsaked items i have. so many ways to match it up with various Helms/capes.
do some Shatteredworlds for the cosmetic outfit and put the gloves/boots with the anima outfit. will match it perfectly Onslaught now!

So as it turns out, the new Amare outfit is actually good for something.
Amare outfit, no Cape, with Valkyrie Spear and Helmet overrides.
