Just a few examples:
Sunspear is a 2h weapon but when used as a javelin counts as 1h both as an override and to be overridden. Why? You're forcing me to use 1h overrides and I can't even dual wield to make it look better.
Verac's Flail is the same.
The Spring Fayre Hook-a-Duck flail has shown up in the search results for non-1h melee for a while now. (this one seems like a genuine bug)
Overall here's my take:
If we have nothing in our off-hand (like both above examples) let us override with 1h AND 2h options unrestricted
If I'm wielding one Ascension Crossbow in my main hand and nothing in my offhand, for whatever reason, let me override Famine's Bow.
If I'm wielding a Nox Scythe, let me override with a Coral Dagger.
I can't see any good argument against this since overrides are supposed to be cosmetic and in places where this could matter like the Duel Arena and Wilderness, they are disabled.
