First, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this.

Is there any way to get hold of Icyenic/Infernal cosmetic overrides from the World Event 1? I didn't participate in the event, but I like the look of the weapons. Is there any way for them to be available again, for example in Solomon's Store, or the rewards shop from the Tuska Event?

Could any mods make them available again, even if they are discontinued? I ask mostly from a role-playing perspective, as there are relatively few god-aligned weapon overrides in the game. Would be cool to use these with the warpriest sets.

I seem to recall these items (or maybe just the WE1 titles, point stands regardless) got a re-release in subsequent World Events. Given World Events aren't really being done anymore, it only seems fair they get a permanent release. I'd personally prefer they come back as some sort of in-game reward as opposed to MTX, but I'd be happy either way.

Yeah, I agree that Solomon's Store is not the best place to release them back into the game. Like I mentioned, perhaps the Tuska reward shop is a reasonable place to re-release them, as that is still active as a D&D (and was also a World Event -- you can also buy warpriest armor from the previous World Events there, so it's logical to be able to buy the overrides there).

Alternatively, they could be bought with Loyality Points (Members Loyality Programme).

I just think it's sad that they are no longer available in any way, as the overrides look pretty slick.

Any other ideas where it would be best to re-release them?

That sounds like a good idea :D

What are the chances a mod sees this post and actually makes it happen? Where would it be best to propose the idea so that they can see it?
Jagex staff are pretty active on Reddit doing weekdays, so you could try proposing the idea over there then :)

Just a heads up though, the Reddit community can be kinda......brutal, and seem to have a strong dislike of any old content coming back (something about "if we do this we should do partyhats too /s" ).

Exactly why i dont see this happening as its not good to pick and choose what can/cant be rereleased.

While Jagex have some internal guidelines, they do re-release items more than people might expect. The Rubber Turkey, for example, was released in 2014 with only 12,500 being added to the game. The turkey was advertised as a discontinued tradeable rare, but this status was later revoked with a re-release in 2017, and again this year.

While Jagex obviously will not re-release such iconic items as partyhats, this should not deter them from re-releasing rewards from years past. Such an appeal to extremes fallacy as comparing cosmetics to multi-billion GP partyhats only serves to undermine genuine discussion.

Furthermore, the trend set by Jagex (with some exception) has been that limited-time events are fair game for reward re-releases, while holidays generally are not. The World Events were not holiday events, and many items from WE1 were re-released with later world events. Furthermore, rewards that have given players advantages (such as abilities [WE2], or Adrenaline Urns [Halloween 2018], ghosthunter [Halloween 2014]) were released as permanent content within the game.

This is not restricted to "useful" rewards either. Many cosmetics from limited-time events have made their reappearance via Oddments, even if they were not directly connected to Treasure Hunter. In some cases, re-releases of cosmetic rewards has been witnessed in holiday events. Thanksgiving 2014/2015/2016 each unlocked the "the Thanksgiver title," as well as the Mackers pet, which first debuted in 2011 . In addition, 2015/2016 both unlocked the Turkey Drumstick override. That's right, they didn't just re-release an override from a limited-time event, they re-released from a Holiday event.

All these factors put together show that an idea should not simply be discarded by a few people proclaiming a logical fallacy.
