When people say "It's your fault If you weren't around to do/get it".
My response:
Disagreed. It's no ones "fault" for missing out as some players weren't simply around to do it.

When people flex their superiority status and say "How so? It's still their fault for missing out"
MY RESPONSE:
Because it's not a choice that they had. If it's a choice that they chose to miss out, then it is, then that is when it's their fault for missing out.
However not being around to do it is not that,
and such those "it's your fault for not being around" responses "come off as condescending and do not contribute or help the matter in any way", according to a forum mod, which i agree with.
Again:
"It's your fault If you weren't around to do/get it"

So i'm going to quote this post whenever another person says "it's their fault for missing out" in future responses.
A fmod already has stated it comes off as condescending and doesn't help the matter

Well they already did false advertising on shadow outfits.
...meaning what? That they might as well do some more? When someone makes a mistake, the appropriate action to follow is to learn from it, not repeat it. Respectively, Jagex should learn from its mistake of false advertising, and keep its word in the future.
