The difference between scythes and sickles is mainly the shape. Smaller scythes are still scythes. I believe kamas would be a better name, but it's still practically the same.

I was kinda wanting to see a Kanabo added if we were to get anymore Japanese weapons.

Ah no worries, I used the bump feature myself a day or two ago. And since I still want to see this happen I don't see anything wrong with this being an old post
