Its threads like these that dont make sense to me.

I mean why is this ok but not holiday items?

The instant someone asks for holiday items, it would be the complete opposite of this.

Well, Most people agree that a holiday event item is different than a cosmetic override that you had to pay 50 dollars for to get.

Now, you could not buy bonds for this as it had to specifically be the 2400 runecoin package.

This had to be purchased all at same time.

Having an in game item that you can earn in game is totally different than having to shell out 50 dollars all in one whack. I think this was the first time Jagex had done this type of thing, the Gorilla outfit came out later. So no one was prepared for it.

So the rich people who have no issues with 50 dollars for a game all at one time got it. Other people maybe didnt have the real life gp or just couldnt get it.

This was one of the reasons i was so for the shadow outfits returning as they were here b4 bonds came out.

Draco, I do remember you supporting the shadow outfit return.. because you did not have them either. I know they are not a promo item but they are all Cosmetics. They are only
here in solomons so without real life money for this promo especially you cant get it. Not everyone can come up with 50 dollars at one time with only a few weeks to do it.

I got this outfit, as did my friend Elsa Anne, so here are 2 people i know of that got it but do support it returning.

Good luck to those who dont have it maybe jagex will need the gps soon. The richest person is not who has the most. It is who Needs the least.

Well considering they're both limited time things, dont see how anyone can disagree with that :@

I mean if spider outfit wasnt limited, we would be having this discussion now would we....

Of course from a money prospective they are different, but thats not the only thing about them.
