Still dont see why bringing these back was a big suprise as you even agree that them being in interface was an annoyance.

But when you say certain few you still mean that it affects a minimal amount of people don't you? It's a big surprise because Jagex didn't stick to their word and tricked many people.
They could've removed said items from the interface could they not have? Yet they went the other route

Yes they could but its easier on them to have a reason to remove them then just remove them via an update and have to make up one.

Yes they could but its easier on them to have a reason to remove them then just remove them via an update and have to make up one. I did read that part, yet it doesn't take anything away from the surprise as many (if not all) people don't see that as an issue to justify rereleasing it. Again, a decision being easier on them doesn't make it any more of a right ting to do.
