Enlightenment Aura Bug

Hi guys,

I was clearing out my bank when I noticed that I had this thing called an "Enlightenment aura". So I RS wiki'd it to find out what is was, and was quite happy that I had this aura to use.

I noticed on RS wiki that this aura was replaced by the Illumination aura few years back, but my Enlightenment aura was never replaced.

I then tried to use it, but it kept saying "this aura's power has completely depleted", but I have never even used it before!

I tried to destroy the Enlightenment aura, thinking that I could reclaim this or the Illumination aura from Xuan in Priff, but he doesn't even list the Enlightenment aura in his shop, nor does he let me reclaim the Illumination aura. It says this aura is locked...

Can someone please explain where I'm going wrong, or if this is a glitch, restore either (working) aura please? This is driving me absolutely nuts and I can't find anything else on RS wiki or these forums that can help!

I can only recommend making sure you don't have both auras in your bank.

If that is not the case, it may have something to do with how you originally obtained enlightenment.

It was awarded to:

- Players with 12 consecutive months of membership as of 28 May 2014 and 26 May 2015
- Gold Premier club members (2016)
- Anyone subscribing using the Summer Special membership promotion (2016)

If you meet none of those criteria, it may be that you were actually awarded enlightenment erroneously and were never meant to have it in the first place – which is why you cannot claim illumination.

I was definitely a member for the whole of that period, which is why I had the Enlightenment aura in the first place, but now I can't claim back either of these!
